Podcast Polish helps you make a careful, ad-free cut of a podcast episode you already have — with every proposed change visible before anything is rendered. These are the simple terms for using it.

Using Podcast Polish

You may use Podcast Polish to import feeds, review proposed ad intervals, and export a cleaned render for your own listening. Keep your account details to yourself — what happens under your account is your responsibility. You need to be old enough to hold an account.

The episodes you process

You bring episodes from feeds you are allowed to access, for personal use. Podcast Polish keeps an immutable copy of the original audio and can produce a replaceable cleaned render after you confirm the cuts. It doesn’t grant you rights to the show itself, and you agree not to use it to redistribute or sell someone else’s work beyond what their feed already permits for your listening.

How the polish is made

Episode audio is transcribed with OpenAI, and proposed ad intervals are suggested with the same provider’s models. You review those proposals before a render is cut with FFmpeg from the original. These are automated tools. They’re helpful, but not perfect — a segment may be mis-labelled. Nothing is rendered until you confirm.

Billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. The price, trial length, and free-episode allowance shown on the pricing page are the ones that apply. Cancelling stops future charges; it doesn’t undo work already done on your account.

What we can and can’t promise

This is a personal project offered as-is. We work to keep it running and your episodes safe, but we can’t promise it will never be unavailable, never lose data, or always propose perfect cuts. Keep the original show — Podcast Polish is a companion to it, not a replacement.

Ending things

You can delete feeds or episodes, or close your account at any time, and your data goes with it (see the privacy note). We may suspend an account that’s being used to abuse the service or others.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll update this page and the date above. Continuing to use Podcast Polish means you’re happy with the current version.
